Life, Health and Medicare Insurance

Become a Licensed Agent

Build a career helping families protect their health, their income and the people they love. Angela will show you the way in.

Why Angela helps new agents

Angela came to insurance from a long corporate career and saw firsthand what the right coverage did for her own family. She knows how confusing the first steps into this business can be, and she wants to help others build the same skills she uses every day: reading the fine print, comparing options honestly and explaining them plainly.

This may be a good fit if you

  • want flexible, meaningful work where you help people make important decisions
  • are changing careers, returning to work, or looking to add a second income stream
  • like working with people and are willing to keep learning
  • live in or want to serve clients in North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland or Georgia

How it works

1. Talk with Angela

A no-pressure conversation about your goals, your schedule and whether this career fits you.

2. Get licensed

Angela points you to the pre-licensing course and helps you prepare for your state licensing exam.

3. Get appointed

Once you are licensed, she helps you get contracted with insurance carriers so you can start serving clients.

4. Learn alongside her

Ongoing guidance as you learn Medicare, health and life insurance products and how to work with clients the right way.

Licensing requirements, exam fees and course requirements vary by state. Insurance agents are typically independent contractors paid on commission, and income depends on individual effort and results. No level of earnings is guaranteed.
