Services
Medicare, health insurance, life insurance and annuities from several carriers, compared for you by one independent advisor.
Medicare
Medicare has several moving parts, and the right mix depends on your doctors, your prescriptions and how you want to pay for care. Angela explains each option and compares plans from the carriers she represents.
- Medicare Advantage (Part C): plans from private insurers that combine hospital and medical coverage, often with drug coverage and extra benefits.
- Medicare Supplement (Medigap): plans that work alongside Original Medicare to help pay deductibles, copays and coinsurance.
- Prescription drug plans (Part D): stand-alone drug coverage, checked against the medications you take.
- Turning 65 or leaving an employer plan: help with timing so you enroll when you should and avoid late penalties.
Annual Enrollment runs from October 15 to December 7 each year. Angela can review your current plan against next year’s options.
We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent 9 organizations which offer 9 products in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) to get information on all of your options.
Health insurance
For individuals and families under 65, including people who are self-employed, retiring early or between employer plans. Angela compares premiums, deductibles, out-of-pocket limits and provider networks so you can see what a plan is likely to cost over a full year.
Life insurance and annuities
Life insurance is about the people who would carry on without you. Angela helps you work out how much coverage makes sense, then compares term and permanent policies across carriers.
- Term life: coverage for a set number of years, often used to protect a mortgage or a growing family.
- Permanent life: lifelong coverage that can also build cash value.
- Living benefits: policy features that can let you use part of your death benefit while you are alive if you face a qualifying chronic, critical or terminal illness. Availability and terms vary by carrier and policy.
Annuities
An annuity is a contract with an insurance company that can turn savings into steady income, often for retirement. Angela explains how each option works, what it costs, and how long your money is committed, so you can decide whether an annuity fits your plans.
- Fixed annuities: a guaranteed interest rate for a set period, with predictable growth.
- Fixed indexed annuities: growth linked to a market index, with protection against market losses.
- Income annuities: a reliable income stream that can last for the rest of your life.
Annuities are insurance products, not bank deposits. They are not FDIC insured, and guarantees are backed by the financial strength and claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company. Annuities are long-term products, and withdrawals during the surrender period may incur surrender charges and tax penalties.
